Server Wide Rules
- Do not ask staff to aid you in matters that may give you an advantage above other players.
- Do not use any client side hacks, mods or texture packs to item hack, speed hack, xray or for any other purpose that may give you an unfair advantage above other players.
- Do not lure others into using the /suicide command.
- Do not build on another person’s chests to prevent them from accessing them.
- Do not lock chests that you yourself haven’t placed.
- Do not access chest shops that are in the process of being created.
- Do not tamper with a chest shop that is not your own.
- Do not use the /home command for the use of PVP.
- Do not use donator commands for the use of PVP at all.
- Do not use any command to access areas that you wouldn’t be able to normally.
- PVP is not allowed in a non-PVP area in any shape or form.
- Do not abuse bugs for the use of PVP, to gain an unfair advantage above other players, or to access areas you would not usually be able to.
- Do not use buckets for the purpose of griefing.
- Do not use buckets to kill other players.
- Be respectful to all players and staff.
- If an Admin or Mod speaks to you, please reply or you may be warned/kicked/banned.
- If you cut down a tree, please replant it - or at least don't leave any floating logs
Wilderness Rules
- The wilderness is unprotected, if you build anything in the wilderness it can be destroyed by another player, staff will not get involved in situations of wilderness griefing.
- PVP is allowed within the wilderness.
Survival World Rules
- Griefing is the intentional theft, destruction, or defacement of other user's virtual property.
- We have zero tolerance for theft or destruction of users’ property on this world. You will likely be banned immediately if caught griefing on this world.
- Do not damage a players property to gain access to it, even if you intend to repair the damage.
Town Rules
- PVP is not allowed within towns in any form whatsoever, the only exception is for town events such as Spleef that’s pre-approved by a moderator.
- Shooting arrows from the wilderness into a town is not allowed.
- Do not build structures on the border of towns or build structures nearby a town that are for the purpose of harassment.
- Do not stand on the border of towns and harass citizens inside.
- If a mayor or an assistant of a town asks you to leave their town then you must leave their town.
- Small town griefs are to be investigated by Mayors, larger town griefs can be investigated by moderators.
- Town spawns must have a safe zone of 8 x 8.
- Towns cannot have PVP enabled at any point in time.
- Town chunks cannot be unclaimed to allow you to kill someone in that chunk.
Chat Rules
- Do not spam any channel.
- Do not use excessive caps in any channel.
- Do not use references to drug, sex or vulgarity.
- Do not use any offence or inappropriate language.
- Do not go off the topic of the channel you’re chatting in is intended for.
Chat Channels
- Global - /g - For the use of Minecraft and KoolSource related discussion.
- Trade - /tr - For the use of trading, shop advertisement, or job requests.
- Help - /h - For the use of help related to Minecraft or KoolSource. Answers that are not constructive, helpful, or polite are not allowed.
- Recruit - /recruit - For the use of recruit for towns be it advertisements or individuals looking for towns.
- Out Of Character - /Chat - For the use of off-topic discussion.
General Server Info
- The wilderness is fully unprotected, within the wilderness griefing and PVP is allowed.
- The server utilises LWC (Light Weight Chest Protection) for locking chests.
- If a chest is unlocked then is can be stolen from, no rule prevents this, so remember to lock your chests.
- Towns are moderated by players, not the server staff.
- The currency of the server is called “Kredits”.
Additional
- Punishments for breaking any of these rules are determined and carried out by the moderation staff.
- Most punishments will be determined on a individual case basis and therefore an exact punishment is not set in stone for breaking any of these rules.
- All moderation staff comply by these rules and are not exempt from them.
- If you are to involve yourself in any staff matters then we're not liable for any loss of items or inconvenience caused as a result.
- Staff are not liable for any loss of items caused due to bugs. Minecraft is work of progress and therefore bugs are expected.
- The Final Decision is reached by our Moderation Staff.
